MMR algorithm.

The MMR algorithm works in such a way that your opponent team's average MMR is the same as your team's. No algorithm can judge human skill.

The best way to gain a high MMR in quick time is to juke between matchmaking algorithms.

The normal matchmaking algorithm works in such a way that, for every win, the next game you play will have tougher opponents and for every loss, the next game you play will have easier opponents.

This is based on win-rate,games played & no. of wins.

MMR matchmaking algorithm considers-

Team average MMR, Individual MMR, Games played, Last 5 games win rate.

The stronger your opponents, the less MMR you will gain. After you reach around 5.25k MMR, your per game MMR gain will be around +5, +3, etc
and not the normal +24,+23, etc.

If you start losing 2 games in row in MMR, stop playing ranked games and switch to normal matchmaking which will affect your games played and win rate, but not your MMR.

As soon as you get a win, go for MMR. and only play till you get a loss, stop as soon as you get 1 loss.

Now, if you win 3-4 MMR games in a line, make sure to avoid the next incoming sure-shot loss (Even if you are an op 6-slot furion, the team always has low mmr) and play normal matchmaking till you get 2 losses, then switch back to MMR.

This is probably the most effective technique to reach a 6K rating.

***NOTE-- This technique obviously depends on your 100% gameplay at all times and a hell lot of patience.
