All secrets of DOTA2
MMR - matchmaking rating shows your skill at DOTA 2. To know your own MMR you should reach level 13 and play 10 calibration games. Then you can see your MMR.This criteria can be calculated through your KDA ( kill + assists/ death ), winrate ( winning or losing streaks), GPM( gold per minute) , XPM ( experience per minute). These are main factors to calculate your MMR. Additionally, there also other things to include also like HD ( hero damage), HH ( hero healings ) and wards/sentries placed ( for supports ). 70% of all players in DOTA 2 have MMR in region 3000 - 4000. So the maximum MMR you can get from calibration games is 4500 - 5000 . That means you are one the most 15 % high skilled players. Until reaching level 13 play only heroes that you play very good than other heroes, because DOTA 2 couts every game until reaching lvl 13 to calculate your MMR. If you are player with more than 500 or 1000 hours in dota 2 and your MMR is low, I suggest you to open new account and start to play your best heroes to make good impact on every game. I gurantee this will help you to get higher MMR. After calibration games and your MMR calculated, your MMR will increase only if you win the game. Average points increased in ranked games if you win is 25 points, if you lose - 25 points. Therefore to win you should be useful to your team and play actively on teamfights, not only steal the kills.
Here are my tips to get High MMR that you can actually get without these ones:
1. Do not feed.
Try to not feed as much as possible. Before reaching level 13, do not try to win ! Try to gank and kill enemy more, and not to die. This shows your KDA ratio. If you want to get High MMR your average KDA in every game should be 4 - 5 ( for example 10 kills / 3 deaths/ 5 assists) .
2. Learn to carry the game
To carry the game you should be able to play on carry heroes like void, spectre and etc. Carry is nothing without his support, because in early game carries are very poor and can be dead very easily. That's why carries should farm a lot, then in late game they start to show what they can do. The main factor for this is GPM and XPM. If your GPM is above 600 , that means you can farm pretty well. GPM and XPM also main factors to get high MMR.
3. Always carry the Teleport.
Teleport is very useful item. Many heroes can be countered just with TP like bloodseeker, viper, slark, huskar. It can save your life from different ganks. So always carry TP, it is the key for win. In other way, if enemy team is ganking middle or othe lanes, you should immediately teleport to them and help your team. With that you can save your team members also you might get kills.

4. Know your enemies better.
This one also one of the best factor to get high skilled. Look for enemy heroes, you should know their heroes and their skills, items, do they have teleport or not. If you do this I am sure you get better and win the game.

5. Know your roles in game
There are many roles in DOTA 2 like carry, support, initiator, tank and etc. When you play a hero know dyour role and try to take an action according to your role. For example, if you are playing void, then you should farm a lot in early game and kill enemy in late game. Axe is initiator and tank, if you are playing axe, you should get your basic items and start to rotate on the map and initiate your team first in teamfight or ganks.

6. Map awareness
This is the very important thing. Look at minimap everytime, it takes just 1 sec. When there are 5 enemies on minimap, that means its ok to continue to farm or do whatever you do. However, when there is no one on minimap, you should not go push or go alone. They might going to gank someone. Even if you have wards on your map, they might be coming with smoke. So just be with your team.
